Metalcraft Panels by Metecno - The PIR Technology Advantage
Metalcraft Insulated Panels are sandwich panels with insulating core in rigid plastic foam (PIR technology), consist the ideal solution for internal, external and partition walls with increased thermal insulation requirements. Rigid plastic foam is an unrivalled insulating material, minimizing thermal losses through its mass, and in combination with the air-tight and thermal-bridge-free joint of Metalcraft Insulated Panels wall panels, result is a wall system that offers a comfortable indoor climate, significant energy savings, remarkable load-bearing capacity, and pleasant aesthetics
Metalcraft Insulated Panels specialise in the manufacture, supply and installation of insulated panels. Backed by solid warranties the range of insulated panels, supplied by Metalcraft Insulated Panels, is used in a variety of applications.
As a member of the United Industries Group, Metalcraft Insulated Panels joins one of the largest group of companies supplying, manufacturing and installing products for the Australian & New Zealand Residential and Commercial construction markets.
Metalcraft Insulated Panels manufactures a full range of panel solutions using various core technologies as well as meeting the performance requirements of the external environment through different coatings to the metal substrate skins.
Speedfloor® - The Ultimate Steel Joist Floor System
The Floor System the Others Look Up To (www.speedfloor.co.nz) ® When strength and speed are what you need, SPEEDFLOOR covers it all. SPEEDFLOOR® is the unrivalled roll-formed steel joist floor system, allowing for rapid deployment and superior spanning for the most demanding flooring projects. Designed and manufactured in both New Zealand and Australia, SPEEDFLOOR® floor systems are lighter and faster to install than traditional timber joists or concrete slabs. SPEEDFLOOR® stand by the quality of their products so you can stand on them with complete confidence.
Surefoot - The All-in-One Footing System
Surefoot is an “all in one footing system”, where the unique shape and high strength steel combines to create a very efficient pile cap. Once piles are driven and the cap secured, the opposing forces of the multi directional piles provides a solid, stable and economical footing. The system is designed to increase its efficiency when resisting gravity, uplift, shear and moment loads. Ultimately the soil structure absorbs the applied stress. Our footing system is job specific and is designed according to site soil conditions, and structural design loads etc. Surefoot cannot be labelled as either a shallow or a deep footing and therefore belongs to a new “hybrid” type of footing.

Step-by-Step Construction with ArmaPal
1. Metalcraft Panels Metecno PIR Wall & Roofing Panels transported to site along with Armapal’s steel platform & steel support structure, SureFoot’s steel pilings and Speedfloor® Steel Joist Flooring system.
2. Builder marks out site from Engineer’s plans according to customer specifications, and drives not less than nine Surefoot’s steel pilings, dependent on ground surface Geology Report.
3. The Armapal steel support structure is assembled secured at each step with steel nut and bolt systems.
4. The Metalcraft by Metecno steel composite flooring panels are inserted into the secured steel base platform, followed by the Metecno PIR flooring panels.
5. Speedfloor® steel joist flooring system is assembled and attached to the piling system via extreme high-tension steel nut and bolt system.
6. The METecno PIR external wall panels are inserted and secured into the Armapal steel support structure.
7. The Metecno PIR internal wall panels are inserted and secured into the Armapal steel support structure.
8. The Metecno PIR roofing panels are inserted and secured into the ArmaPal steel support structure.
9. The entire structure is then also encased in the ArmaPal steel framing structure.
10. Windows and doors are inserted along with external flashings, facias & gutters.
11. Fit out of gas califont / electric hot water, bathrooms, toilets & kitchens according to plans and drawings, with all electrical and data systems installed.
